CINCH is excited to announce that we are teaming up with the Eastern Shore Child Health Coalition (ESCHC) and the Virginia Department of Health CHAMPION'S program to offer BodyWorks, a nutrition and physical activity course for parents and caregivers of young adolescents. CINCH and ESCHC partners are volunteering to offer this free 10-week course in just about every city, county and town throughout Hampton Roads. The course is loaded with excellent materials, prizes and ideas for the whole family. BodyWorks focuses on parents as role models and provides them with needed tools and support to create and maintain healthy lifestyles in the face of hectic schedules, shrinking budgets and a fast-food culture. The course provides help to plan, shop and prepare meals saving both time and money. We are always looking for more volunteers! If you think you might be interested in volunteering and learning how to teach a course of your own, we are holding a train-the-trainer session on **Tuesday, December 1st at EV Williams Hall (855 W Brambleton Ave, Norfolk, VA). Please contact Adrienne Rust-Chester at 757-668-6430 or for details. (**New Date)
